What Does 18K Gold Plating Mean?

❌ Suspiciously low prices — Genuine 18K plating on SS 304 has a cost floor. Anything too cheap is likely cutting corners on base metal or plating thickness.
❌ Green skin after wearing — This is a classic sign of brass or copper base metal reacting with your skin's pH.
❌ Tarnishing within days — Quality plating doesn't tarnish in days. If it does, the plating layer is too thin.
